CARING FOR YOUR BULBS

We hope these bulbs can bring you a smile and some early spring color to your landscape!

This special assortment of bulbs is already beginning to sprout inside your miniature container garden. Follow these simple care instructions, and in just a few weeks, it will be bursting with color!

PLACEMENT

If you are keeping your bulbs indoors, display them in a location with bright, indirect sunlight and temperatures ranging between 55° to 65°F. Be sure to place the decorative container on a water-resistant surface, as it may not be waterproof. Rotate the container periodically to keep the stalks growing straight. There is no need to fertilize the bulbs since they contain enough stored food to flower one time.

WATER

Water your bulbs regularly to keep the soil moist, but not soggy.

Easy watering tip: place 1 to 3 small ice cubes on the soil for slow watering.

TRANSPLANTING

Encouraging bulbs to bloom indoors depletes their reserves so transplanting them outside after they’ve bloomed gives them a 50/50 chance of continued blooms. If you’d like to try growing your bulbs outdoors, transplant them in spring after all danger of frost has passed in a sunny location. Water bulbs immediately upon planting and when the soil surface feels dry.

IMPORTANT: Ornamental plant material should not be eaten. Keep away from pets and children.
